Cagoule Shirt - Olive Cotton Madras

ENGINEERED GARMENTS Cagoule Shirt – Olive Cotton Madras: The Cagoule Shirt is a modified piece of wet-weather clothing that deftly combines classic rain gear with influences from military garb. The item itself is quite roomy – as most pullover garments tend to be, allowing for it to be taken off easily while keeping some extra space for layering. A distinctly Engineered Garments touch is found with the placement of 3 cat-eye buttons under the chin, and one apiece for the flaps of the front pockets and side hip pockets. The drawcord at the bottom is yet another staple, creating an opportunity to cinch, blouse, or even leave it to dangle.

Included in ss25 collection, this ENGINEERED GARMENTS Cagoule Shirt – Olive Cotton Madras features:

  • Boxy and comfortable fit
  • Drawstring at hood and hem
  • Three-button fastening at funnel neck
  • Flap and welt pockets
  • Two-button barrel cuffs

Made in USA – Crafted in New York City

Composition & Materials: 100% cotton

SS25 “Evoking the Spirit of the Lost Generation” – One of the most admired heroes, Ernest Miller Hemingway, was a prominent figure of the Lost Generation in the 1920s. His lifestyle and vision share many elements with the concepts behind our clothing. From the African savannas and plains, Atlantic expanse of Key West to the social circles of Paris. His unique style pervades every scenario and forms the foundation of the clothing we love. For the Spring/Summer 2025 season, the American brand blend Hemingway’s distinctive lifestyle with the essence of Engineered Garments — old-school hunting, fishing, and classic American leisure styles — to propose a new city safari, infusing his legacy into a modern context.
