The Flying Ace series pulls details from the US Air Force’s nylon Type K-2A flying suit manufactured in a short period of time in the early 1950s and focusing on “Utility, functionality and durability”, which is the greatest characteristic of military gear. Adopting the design details of military items at that time, the Japanese brand has made each style functional for daily use.
At that time, U.S. AIR FORCE soldiers were custom painting their flight jackets and aircraft, to reflect on their family, lover, and home. Inspired by the culture, this series uses two “PILOT DOGS” which are adorable and peaceful original characters. They are designed by Russell Maurice, a London-based graphic artist. All models come with a hanging tag with stickers of “PILOT DOGS
