Flight Jacket / Kvadrat Sisu – Navy: Founded in Denmark in 1968, Kvadrat is deeply rooted in the tradition of Scandinavian design, providing innovative textiles for a wide range of fields, from space to electronics. This product features “Sisu,” a fabric created by contemporary artist Danh Vo, which is a large-scale modification of an archive textile* from Kvadrat.
This flight jacket features the iconic “Sisu” rear sleeves. The textile’s color and paneling create a rhythmic impression. The removable tag on the left sleeve, made from the same fabric, is also a highlight. The main body is made of nylon twill with a distinctive faded look that evokes a vintage feel. The padding is made of Climashield®, a material also used in modern military wear. While offering the same warmth as down, it is lightweight and maintains its functionality even in humid environments or with repeated wear. Its compact volume makes it a versatile outerwear piece that can be worn with any inner layer.
